God's wonderful grace

Just as sure as the stars in heaven
shine forth in darkness of night,
we can rely on the love of God
To carry us through our plight.

Just as sure as the sun each morning
gives of its light through the day,
we know that we have God’s presents
no matter what comes our way.

We may not have all the answers
to the many trials we face,
but on one thing we can always rely—
we are kept by God’s wonderful grace.

After rereading this poem I am sure that I meant “presents” as the gift of life was God’s first present to mankind But I can see how you could the other way.

Thanks Southgal,
It’s been a while since I have seen or heard from you. Let’s hope you come back more often. I really like your poetry and we need more people on this site.

very good. in the second last line of the second stanza you have 'presents' as in gifts? Is this correct or is it 'presence'?

I like this poem.
